Terms of Service

Bethemesh is published by Yann Bastien. It offers online tools to transform text, tables, images, PDFs and other data, a Workspace to chain these operations into pipelines, and widgets to embed on other sites.

The tools are free. Bethemesh may be funded in part by advertising.

When a tool says so, your files are processed in your browser; the privacy policy describes the data that still leaves your device.

By using Bethemesh, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

If you are a minor, use the service with the consent of your legal guardian.

No account is needed to use the tools. An account lets you find your pipelines, templates and favourites on several devices.

Give accurate information, keep your credentials secret and tell us quickly about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for actions taken from your account, unless they result from a failure attributable to Bethemesh.

Bethemesh may suspend an account used in breach of these terms. You are told beforehand, except in an emergency involving security or abuse.

The tools are provided as is. Finance, health, construction and date calculators give estimates: they do not replace the advice of a legal, medical, financial or building professional.

Check every result before using it, especially when a mistake could have serious consequences, and keep a backup of your original files.

The public data shown by some tools, such as metal prices, is indicative and may be delayed.

You may embed the Bethemesh widgets on your site free of charge, as they are provided. Do not change how they work or suggest a partnership that does not exist.

You remain responsible for the page that hosts a widget. A widget may change or be withdrawn, in particular for security reasons.

You keep all rights to the content you process.

The ideas you suggest through the forms, such as a new tool or an improvement, may be implemented freely and without compensation.

Bethemesh does its best to stay available and reliable, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted access: maintenance, technical changes, security incidents or a provider outage may interrupt it.

Features may be fixed, added or removed. Significant changes affecting accounts are announced when reasonably possible.

To the extent permitted by law, Bethemesh is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or business, or the consequences of an incorrect result, misuse or a missing backup.

This limit does not apply where the law forbids excluding liability.

To delete your account and synced data, write through the contact form. An identity check may be requested to protect the account.

Data stored in your browser is cleared separately, from the Bethemesh settings or your browser. Some information may be kept where the law requires it.

These terms evolve with the service, its security requirements and the applicable law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

In case of a significant change, account holders are informed. Continuing to use the service after the new terms take effect means you accept them.

These terms are governed by French law, subject to any more protective provisions of your country of residence.

If a problem arises, please write to us first to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute falls under the competent courts.
