Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of bethemesh.com. Bethemesh follows a Local First approach: tools remain available without an account and supported files are processed in your browser.

Service overview

Bethemesh provides online tools for transforming text, spreadsheets, images, PDFs and other data, together with a Workspace for organising transformations into pipelines.

Core processing is performed locally in the browser when stated by the tool. Optional features, including accounts and synchronisation of JSON definitions, may communicate with remote services.

Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing Bethemesh or using its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or use the service with the permission of your legal representative.

Account creation and security

An account is optional for public tools. It may be required to synchronise selected pipelines, templates or preferences across devices.

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure and promptly report unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where it results from a failure attributable to Bethemesh.

User responsibilities

You must use Bethemesh in accordance with applicable law, third-party rights and the intended purpose of the service. You must not disrupt, bypass, probe or compromise the security of the website or its providers.

You must have the necessary rights to process your content. You are responsible for backing up source data, checking results and deciding whether a tool is suitable for your purpose, particularly where an error could have significant consequences.

Intellectual property

Bethemesh, its identity, interfaces, text, visual components and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.

Using the service does not transfer any rights in those elements. You retain your rights in the content you process and grant only the technical permissions strictly required for the features you choose to enable.

Availability and changes to the service

Bethemesh aims to provide a reliable and accessible service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may result from maintenance, technical changes, security incidents or provider failures.

Features may be fixed, adapted, added or removed to improve the service, security or compliance. Where reasonably possible, significant changes affecting accounts will be announced.

Limitation of liability

The tools are provided as is and do not replace specialist legal, medical, financial or technical advice. Automated processing must always be checked before its results are used.

To the extent permitted by law, Bethemesh is not liable for indirect damage, business interruption, data loss or consequences caused by incorrect content, misuse or failure to keep backups. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and personal data

The Local First design limits the content sent to servers. Account, form and optional synchronisation data is processed for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated remote data through the available account features or the contact form. Identity verification may be required to protect the account.

Deleting an account does not automatically erase information stored locally in your browsers. You can remove it through Bethemesh settings or browser settings. Some records may be retained where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change to reflect service features, security requirements or applicable law. The latest revision date appears at the bottom of this page.

If a change is material, appropriate notice will be provided to account holders. Continuing to use the service after the new Terms take effect means that you accept them.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.

If a problem arises, please contact us so that we can seek an amicable resolution. Otherwise, disputes will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction under the applicable procedural rules.
