Calculation conventions mainly differ in the twilight angles used for Fajr and Isha, while the Asr school changes the Asr time. For everyday use, follow the method published by your local mosque or trusted religious authority whenever possible.
The tool includes Grand Mosque of Paris and Musulmans de France / UOIF alongside the Muslim World League. If a local mosque publishes its own timetable, its chosen convention and local minute adjustments are usually the most practical reference.
Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian Authority and University of Karachi use different twilight parameters. Prefer the convention commonly followed in your country, region or local Muslim community.

Prayer times are calculated from the selected location’s latitude, longitude, date and time zone. The engine derives the relevant solar positions, then applies the Fajr and Isha angles defined by the chosen convention together with the selected Asr rule. Daylight-saving changes are resolved for each date. At high latitudes, a dedicated fallback is used only when the requested twilight angle cannot be reached. Optional manual adjustments can then align the schedule with a trusted local mosque or authority.
