Each line maps a language or regional code to an absolute URL. The tool checks the basic syntax, rejects duplicate codes and turns valid entries into link rel="alternate" tags with hreflang attributes. You can also include x-default for a fallback page. Validation is intentionally local: it checks the data you entered but does not fetch remote pages, so reciprocal references and live HTTP status cannot be confirmed.
