How does this tool work?
Images to PDF gathers photos, screenshots or photographed documents into a single PDF file, one image per page. It is the simplest way to send several supporting documents taken with a phone, turn scans saved as JPEG into one document, or archive a series of screenshots. The images stay in your browser: none is sent to a server.
Each image becomes a page whose size matches its dimensions exactly: one image pixel equals one PDF point, or 1/72 of an inch. There is no margin, cropping or resizing to a paper format; a portrait photo gives a portrait page, a wide screenshot a wide page.
PNG and JPEG files are embedded as they are, without recompression: the PDF has the quality of your images. WebP images are first converted to PNG, a lossless format, which can make the PDF heavier than the original files. Other formats are rejected with an error message.
Pages follow the order in which the files were selected. After conversion, the tool shows how many images were processed and the size of the PDF produced, downloaded as images.pdf.

A PDF point is 1/72 of an inch (0.353 mm). The page is therefore larger than an A4 sheet (210 × 297 mm); PDF readers display it fitted to the screen, and printers shrink it if you choose “Fit to page”.

- Rename the photos 01, 02, 03… before selecting them so they follow one another in the right order.
- Crop document photos before converting: table edges or the shadow of your hand would end up in the PDF.
- To get A4 pages, run the PDF through Resize PDF pages afterwards.
- If the PDF is too heavy, reduce the photos’ resolution first: the tool does not recompress them.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats are accepted?
PNG, JPEG and WebP. PNG and JPEG files are embedded unchanged; WebP files are converted to PNG before embedding.
Why are my pages not A4?
Each page takes the dimensions of its image, at one PDF point per pixel. For a standard format, resize the pages afterwards with the dedicated tool.
Can I change the order of the images?
Not after selection: pages follow the order in which the files were chosen. Rename them or select them again in the order you want.
Is photo quality reduced?
Not for PNG and JPEG, which are copied as they are. A WebP converted to PNG loses no quality, but the file gets larger.
Will the text in my photos be selectable?
No, an image stays an image. Run the PDF through the OCR tool to add a searchable text layer.
Are my photos sent over the internet?
No. Reading the images and creating the PDF are done in your browser, on your device.
