How does this tool work?

Preparing an image often takes several steps in a row: crop, fix the lighting, blur a number plate, add a caption, then export at the right size. This editor brings them together in a single workspace, with an undo history and a before/after comparison, so you can retouch a PNG, JPEG or WebP image without installing software or uploading it.

Tools are grouped in the side bar. Crop gathers cropping with ratios, social media formats, resizing, rotation, flipping, free rotation and canvas size. Retouch holds adjustments (brightness, contrast, temperature, shadows and so on), effects, blurring or pixelating an area and transparent background. Add offers text, annotations, watermark and frame (rounded corners, circle, border). Analyze extracts the dominant palette.

Every applied change goes into the history: Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) let you step back at any time, and Before / after or Side by side compare with the original. Intermediate steps stay lossless; compression happens only once, on export.

The Export tab chooses the format (current format, PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or GIF), the quality or a target size, and removes EXIF and GPS metadata by default. The estimated size and dimensions are shown before you download. From a single tool, Open the full editor hands over the image and its pending changes.

How to use this tool

  1. Import the image

Drop a PNG, JPEG or WebP file of up to 25 MB, or arrive from another tool with Open the full editor.

  2. Chain your edits

Open a group, set the tool, then Apply; step back with Ctrl+Z if needed.

  3. Export

In Export, choose the format and quality, check the estimated size and download.

Use cases

Prepare a photo for an article

Crop, brighten, add a caption and export as a light WebP without switching tools.

Anonymise a screenshot

Blur a name or an address, circle the useful area and remove metadata before sending.

Create a social media visual

Apply an Instagram or LinkedIn format, add text and a watermark, then export.

Examples

Product photo for an online shop

Crop to 1:1 (3,000 × 3,000 px), Auto adjust, resize to 1,200 px, then export as WebP. Every step can be undone before downloading.

Input

4,000 × 3,000 px JPEG photo

Result

Square 1,200 × 1,200 px WebP image, brightened, without metadata

Screenshot to share with a contractor

Blur → Pixelate area on the address, then Annotate → Arrow to the button. The PNG keeps crisp lines with no compression halo.

Input

PNG screenshot showing an email address and a faulty button

Result

PNG with the address pixelated and a red arrow pointing at the button

Tips and best practices

  • Crop and resize first: later edits then work on fewer pixels and run faster.
  • Keep PNG while working on a screenshot; pick JPEG or WebP only when exporting a photo.
  • Leave metadata removal on for phone photos: they may contain the GPS position.
  • For a single operation, the dedicated tool (crop, compress, watermark and so on) has a simpler interface.

Frequently asked questions

Which tools does the editor include?

Crop, social formats, resize, rotate, flip, canvas, adjustments, effects, area blur, transparent background, text, annotations, watermark, frame, palette and export with compression.

How many steps can I undo?

All of those in the current session: every applied change stays in the history until you reset or close the page.

Does quality drop with each change?

No. Intermediate steps are kept lossless; JPEG or WebP compression is applied only once, when you download.

Is my work saved if I close the page?

No. The editor keeps nothing after closing; download the image before you leave.

Can I edit several images at once?

No, the editor works on one image. For the same operation on several files, use a Workspace Pipeline.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All edits and the export are computed in your browser.
