How does this tool work?
Reordering the pages of a PDF puts a document back in the right sequence without regenerating it from the original application: a scan whose sheets got mixed up, an appendix to move to the end, a cover page that ended up last after merging. Pages appear as numbered thumbnails; you move them with the mouse or with arrows, then download the new sequence, without leaving your browser.
Each thumbnail shows its original page number and, below it, its current position in the new sequence. Drag a thumbnail onto another one to insert it there, or use the left and right arrows under each page to shift it by one place. The arrows remain available on touch screens, where the browser does not always support drag and drop.
On download, all pages are copied into a new file in the order shown. No page is added or removed and their content does not change: text, images and page size are carried over as they are.
The history keeps every move: Undo goes back to the previous position if a page was dropped in the wrong place.

- In a long document, move whole blocks into place first, then fine-tune page by page with the arrows.
- Rely on the original number shown on each thumbnail rather than on printed page numbers, which can be wrong in a scan.
- If some pages also need to go or to be turned, follow up with Remove PDF pages or Rotate PDF pages.
Frequently asked questions
Drag and drop does not work on my phone. What can I do?
Use the arrows under each thumbnail: each tap moves the page by one position and they work with a finger.
Can I delete or duplicate a page here?
No, this tool only changes the order. To remove pages, use Remove PDF pages; the PDF editor can also insert a blank page.
Is the page content modified?
No. Pages are copied as they are into the new sequence, with no conversion to images and no loss of quality.
Do page numbers printed on the pages update?
No, a printed number is part of the page content. To renumber, add a footer afterwards with Add page numbers to a PDF.
How do I go back after a wrong move?
Click Undo in the history: every move is recorded and can be undone, then redone.
Is the file sent anywhere?
No. The thumbnails and the new PDF are produced in your browser; the document does not leave your device.
