Sheet music on a tablet
Turn sheet music scanned two pages at a time into single pages that are readable on a tablet.
Turn a scanned spread into two reading pages: an open book, sheet music or a sheet containing two panels. Unlike splitting a document into separate files, this operation divides the surface of individual pages. The result remains one PDF, with two parts replacing each selected page. Unselected pages keep their position and size.

Split selected pages in two. Other pages are retained; cropping is not secure redaction.

Turn a scanned spread into two reading pages: an open book, sheet music or a sheet containing two panels. Unlike splitting a document into separate files, this operation divides the surface of individual pages. The result remains one PDF, with two parts replacing each selected page. Unselected pages keep their position and size.
Select the spreads in the shared grid. A vertical cut separates left and right; a horizontal cut separates top and bottom. Position the cut between 5 and 95 percent to accommodate an off-centre scan. The line over the thumbnail shows where separation will occur.
The left or top part comes first by default. Reverse the parts when the document's reading direction requires it. One setting applies to all selected pages; process groups separately if their folds are in different positions.
The output page boxes account for the source's existing crop and declared rotation. Content is copied rather than systematically rasterized, preserving available vector graphics and characters. The result is not automatically A4: sizes depend on the original visible page and the cut position.
This operation crops the visible area; it is not secure redaction. Content outside that area can remain in the file. Use the redaction tool for confidential material. Keep the original and check important links, annotations or form behaviour after recomposition.
