Fonctionnement
The PDF security engine uses qpdf through WebAssembly. It encrypts the document with AES-256 using an empty user password and the owner password you provide, then applies the selected permissions. The file can therefore open normally while exposing restrictions to PDF readers that honor these permissions.
Allow low-resolution printing or disable it completely.
Reserve full changes for the owner-password holder.
Disable text and image extraction before distribution.
