How does this tool work?
Optimize an image for the web or sharing while keeping the source format or choosing PNG, JPEG, or WebP, with optional quality, target-size, and resizing controls.
The tool re-encodes the image in the source format or as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Resizing is off by default; when enabled, maximum width and height define a bounding box and the image is scaled proportionally without distortion. For JPEG and WebP, an optional target size triggers a progressive quality search near the requested budget. PNG is lossless and therefore does not use that quality target.

No. Decoding, processing, and export run locally in your browser. The files remain on your device during the operation.
Which formats are supported?
These tools accept PNG, JPEG, and WebP images up to the limit shown in the interface and export to the formats offered by each tool.
Is the target size guaranteed exactly?
No. The browser re-encodes the image at several quality levels and keeps the best result it finds. Depending on image content and format, the final file can remain slightly above or below the requested target.
