Recommended size: up to 100 MB

A single page may exceed the target if it is already larger.

Why use this tool?

Split a long PDF into regular batches or files that meet a target size. Page-count mode is deterministic; size mode measures the generated PDFs to build the groups.

Your data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Fonctionnement

How does this tool work?

In page mode, the engine successively extracts groups containing no more than the requested number of pages. In size mode, for each part it searches for the largest contiguous group whose generated PDF remains under the requested limit. A single page may exceed the target if it cannot be split further.

Use cases

Meet an upload limit

Split a large PDF before uploading it to a service with a size limit.

Create regular batches

Automatically produce files of 10, 20 or 50 pages.

Prepare batch processing

Process each part afterwards in a PDF pipeline.
